Come and explore some of Canberra’s incredible nature spaces with Bush Play Connections, a series of four bush play sessions held in different nature locations across the Canberra region.

Within each two-hour session, families will enjoy loosely facilitated bush play that includes bush craft creation stations, bush wandering walks, nature exploration and respectful foraging.

Children will be guided through breathing and movement practices, as well as other grounding and mindfulness activities. Bush Play Connections is also an opportunity for children and families to learn local indigenous stories of place.

Brother Daniel will join each session, sharing his local knowledge and deepening our connection to the beautiful Ngunnawal country on which we live.

Lead by qualified early childhood educator and nature play facilitator, Keren Huggett, Bush Play Connections is the combination of three of Keren’s greatest passions; children learning through play, connecting to and loving our Earth and creating opportunities for family and community togetherness.
