Join Fiona from Art For Aged Care and create exciting artworks and pretend play structures using common household recyclable materials!

Art For Aged Care is a Community Art Initiative that sends children’s art to Aged Care Residents across Australia.

This event is run by it’s creator, Fiona Harris. Fiona is an award winning Early Childhood Educator in Canberra as well as an Intergenerational Learning Facilitator at an Aged Care Facility in her community. Re-discover the joy of creativity and imaginative play with us in a fun, safe and inclusive community atmosphere!

Inspire children and young people and their families/carers in Canberra, meet Fiona in The Terrace Room at The National Arboretum in Canberra for a creative morning of boundless imagination and creativity!

Please bring your own box of recyclable materials to be used on the day. Additional paint, textas, sticky tape glue etc. will be provided by us at the event.

Your artworks and imaginative play structures will be photographed and filmed throughout the event and these images will be shared with Aged Care Residents in Canberra and Australia.
